COMING BACK STRONGER
THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES
The past year has been difficult and challenging for millions of people across the Globe. The COVID pandemic has hit all of us in different ways. Many of our friends from the Russian-Speaking immigrant queer community in the U.S. lost their jobs not being able to apply for any government benefits. On top of that, the anti-immigrant policies of the previous Administration had shaken the mental and emotional wellbeing of our LGBTIQA+ people.

Our community came together in support of each other. People who had means donated their time and money. And those of us who were affected by the pandemic needed support immediately. RUSA LGBT was able to connect those who were in need, and those who were willing and able to help.

It is for the moments like this we need to keep building a stronger community. Come join us at Brighton Beach Pride, find out how you can participate and contribute to our work in making the Russian-Speaking LGBTIQA+ community more robust. Let's make it together!
