Masha Gessen, a Russian-American writer, journalist, activist and the recent winner of the National Book Award, will discuss her prized book The Future Is History: How Totalitarianism Reclaimed Russia.

A book signing with Masha will follow the event.

In addition to the food and wine reception, the event will include a silent auction of selected artwork from the Aleksandre Gertsman Gallery as well as art and services provided by asylum seekers.

Tickets are $30.00.
The event will benefit RUSA LGBT and SAFE’s asylum-related work.
