Support Odessa Pride 2016

rusalgbt Activism, Pride 2 Comments

Today, at the AIDS Walk in New York , we started the solidarity campaign to support Odessa Pride 2016 and Ukrainians who fight for equality and dignity for all. We ask Odessa government to allow the march for equality to take place and to guarantee safety!  Our solidarity flag is departing tomorrow from New York to Washington D.C. RUSA LGBT DC will sew to it the D.C. flag and will bring it to the Capitol, and then to the Embassy of Ukraine. The relay will continue in June when the flag will travel to Tel Aviv to march with Russian-speaking LGBT activists from Israel, Germany and the U.S. in the Tel Aviv Pride.

Support Odessa Pride 2016!

Congratulations to Ukraine, the winner of Eurovision 2016!

There is no stigma in being HIV+. There is no stigma in understanding that gay and bisexual men are at a higher risk for contracting HIV. Refusing to understand that risk is a very costly misunderstanding. Education and protection and understanding of your own risks is power.
